KOH SURIN NATIONAL PARK, ALMOST PARADISE

Open from October 2013 thru April 2014, the Koh Surin National Park is a paradise of fine white sandy beaches, thick jungle, crystal-clear waters, and the most extensive coral reef in Thailand.

WHERE IS KOH SURIN?

The Surin Islands (all 7 of them) are off the central Andaman Coast and can be reached from Khao Lak, Kura Buri, or Ranong. They are a natural preserve and home to Thailand’s last remaining tribe of Nomadic Sea Gypsies, the Moken.

FACTS ABOUT KOH SURIN

At Koh Surin National Park, The National Park Authority of Thailand runs all of the accommodations for the Surin Islands giving three unique ways for visitors to enjoy their stay: camping, snorkeling or simply lounging about a bungalow.

LOCAL ADVENTURE OPPORTUNITIES

Camping in the Surin Islands is fun and great value. Meanwhile, even budget travellers can enjoy the best snorkeling in Thailand and all necessary equipment is provided locally. The final option is to book one of the  bungalows on the beach. Providing the best of both worlds, they are equipped with fans and mosquito nets.
